Tha Pho
I’ve been trying Pad Thai everywhere I go in Thailand. For the people who still don’t know, in every part of Thailand they have a different way of making Pad Thai. ‘Pad Thai’ literally means ‘ stir fried Thai style’, which in this case always refers to this dish of course. What I’m trying to clear out is that it doesn’t taste the same everywhere in Thailand.
In my and my husband’s opinion they serve the best Pad Thai of Thailand in that store in Tha Pho (Uthai Thani). Not only their Pad Thai is delicious, but they also serve really tasty noodle soup and other authentic and traditional Thai meals. That woman sure can cook!
You might see pictures of us there. They are not family nor do we benefit from their sales. My dad sometimes sponsors the football players and the owner of the stores manages the money. My husband occasionally plays football with the children and I try to collect clothes and old (still usable) football shoes from friends and family in Belgium. So that’s why you might find pictures of us there.
The store is right next to the ‘Tha Pho Folk Songs Centre’. You can sit and relax at the authentic handcrafted wooden tables.
If you drive through Ban Phansi (Uthai Thani), you will pass Wat Phansi. Drive a little further and you will pass the store at your left side.
