Kanya
Kanya is a new restaurant in the center of Uthai Thani. It quickly became one of my favorite restaurants. Kanya has a simple but clean interior. I can’t really put my finger on the style they were aiming for. The bar, sealing and toilet door are rustic, the heavy wooden tables inside are kinda antique and the windows and floor are rather industrial. But nevertheless it’s cosy! It has an air conditioned dining area, which is actually pretty cold and you can also sit outside.
The staff is friendly and most of them understand English. The menu English as well. They don’t have an overly-extensive menu, but rather a limited choice of great food. My personal favorite is the rice topped with crispy bacon and holy basil.

They have quite a lot of other rice dishes. So there will be definitely something you like too. Kanya has a few side dishes which all are delicious and beautifully presented.
For the beer lovers : Kanya offers a small variety of native and foreign beers.
