When it comes to squeezing limes I’ve always called my husband to help me. Not that I’m a little weak girl, but I usually give up while thinking “I’m not strong enough for this”. But what to do when you are not strong enough and too stubborn to admit it? Then you have to be smart.
You can find online that you can roll them against the countercarve and sure that helps, but not enough. You’ll still give up after a few. You could cut your limes in more pieces and squeeze them with your hand, but I’m to lazy to do so.
I found my own way that works for me. After I’ve cut them in half, I carve a cross trough the section membranes in every piece. This makes it easier to squeeze the most juice out with a juicer.
