Sappraiwan Grand Hotel and Resort
I wanted to go to Sappraiwan Park in Phitsanulok because I wanted to see the elephants and relax a bit.
When my husband and I arrived at the premises I was immediately impressed. The wall in front of the resort was beautiful. I loved how many elephant statues were put at the entrance.
The lobby of Sappraiwan Grand Hotel and Resort was stylish and clean. The personnel did not speak english very well, but they were very friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. I do speak Thai enough, but I always like to know if the people complaining on tripadvisor are right or overreacting. In my opinion they don’t speak enough english to chit-chat, but enough to get you what you need if you are very patient.
The swimming pool was very big and clean. Not many deck chairs in the sun, but most Thai people don’t like lying in the sun. You could move the chairs if you like.
There is a cosy elephant house lake view café. I loved how peaceful the atmosphere was there. As the name says, you can sit next to the lake and enjoy your drink. The elephants daily walk by the lake and go for a little swim. So it’s nice to sit there and watch them enjoy their freedom.
The accommodations in Sappraiwan Grand Hotel and Resort are all in the beautiful park. The rooms were absolutely stunning. They were big, clean and cozy. I immediately feel relaxed. I also loved the elephants folded with towels. On that matter my inner child in me hasn’t died yet.
There are many activities you can attend at Sappraiwan Grand Hotel and Resort. My husband and I went on a half day elephant program, but we will come back in the rainy season for the rafting, waterfalls and night safari.
I really loved this resort and I would definitely go back to Sappraiwan Grand Hotel and Resort in Phitsanulok!
