Pakdee Farm Steak House
Pakdee Farm Steak House is located on Highway number 12. If I remember correctly it is located between Sakunothayan Waterfall and Kaeng Song Waterfall (I’ll try to check that with the owner). It is on your left hand side of you drive to Phitsanulok centre and on your right hand side if you drive away from Phitsanulok centre to Phetchabun on highway number 12.
I was hungry from visiting Wat Pha Sorn Kaew (in Phetchabun) and the waterfalls in Phitsanulok on Highway number 12. My husband told me he had seen a nice looking steakhouse next to the highway which we still had to pass the moment I told him I was hungry.
It was indeed a nice restaurant, very clean and the waitresses were very friendly. As the menu was only in Thai we asked somebody to translate it. The owner than kindly translated the whole menu. Yes, she could have read it in thai for me, but I always like to test their english. Makes it easier for me to get an indication of how good or bad their English is. It was quite well and got everything we needed.
My husband, his friend and I all ordered the beef tenderloin. It was a nice plated dish. The steak was baked the way we ordered it and was well seasoned.
Before we left the owner took the time for a quick chat with us (in English) , which I can really appreciate. She asked us our opinion and told us the restaurant was only open for 5 days. If they continue cooking and serving like this, I think this might be a really successful business.
We had a good meal and would definitely go back if we are visiting the waterfalls or temple again.
