Thailand for farang

It's a boy

On the 21st of June 2017 my life changed completely. Our son Dylan was born in Nakhon Sawan, Thailand.

I can’t say I remember everything like it was yesterday cause I feel like I am 5 years older since then. It was quite an adventure to give birth in Thailand (I’m not talking about Bangkok, I can imagine everything is to international standards there). But let’s just leave it at “adventurous”. It’s done, it’s over and I’m never doing it again.

Our son is now a little over 3 months old. I haven’t been able to blog lately, because he has severe acid reflux disease and this is an unknown condition in Thailand. So I’m up in puke, laundry and mobbing the floor all day and all night. I am carrying him in an Ergobaby carrier as I write this post. I’m not even sure if my t-shirt will be dry after I finish this post.

Dylan-and-me

At this moment it is just my husband and I who are taking care of Dylan in combination with work and the household. So blogging wasn’t possible lately. My parents arrive in Thailand in 2 weeks and I’m planning on blogging again from time to time.

Good news for those of you with kids : I’ve gotten many questions about traveling with kids in Thailand which I couldn’t answer. I will be posting about traveling in Thailand with kids as soon he grows out of his acid reflux disease. Should be in 3 months.

I guess today is my lucky day both me and Dylan managed to stay puke free while writing this post.
